Food Drop Crew
1 day/month — 3 to 4 hours
Help load, transport, and hand out fresh food and pantry staples at our monthly mass food drops. Physical work, big impact.
Essentials Distributor
Flexible — 2 to 3 hours as needed
Sort and distribute toiletries, clothing, and hygiene supplies through trusted community channels. Flexible scheduling available.
Dawn-Box Tech Mentor
Weekly — 2 to 4 hours per session
Support learners working toward professional tech certificates in our community computer lab or as a remote coach for our mobile laptop fleet.
Sovereign Threads Workshop Assistant
Event-based — varies by workshop
Help set up, facilitate, and support Indigenous artists leading traditional craft workshops. No prior craft experience required.
Community Event Support
Event-based — varies by event
Assist with logistics, setup, check-in, and community care at gatherings, learning days, and cultural events.
Speaker or Cultural Educator
As scheduled — 1 to 2 hours per session
Share your knowledge, lived experience, or craft as a volunteer speaker or teacher for the Sovereign Threads Project or Raven Quest programming.
Social Media Content Creator
As scheduled — approx. 4 hrs/week; event coverage varies by size and length
Serve as our on-the-ground content creator — capturing photos and videos at community events and translating them into timely, engaging posts across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. Non-event weeks focus on evergreen content, scheduling, and community engagement.
Neighborhood Community Liaison
Flexible — 2 to 4 hours as needed
Serve as the eyes and ears of the community — engaging directly with residents across Shawnee County and surrounding areas to surface real needs, barriers, and lived experiences. Your on-the-ground conversations shape how CLM Outreach designs and delivers its programs.
Dawn-Box / Sovereign Threads Delivery
As scheduled — varies by delivery run
Transport supply kits, Dawn-Box participant equipment, and Sovereign Threads workshop materials directly to program participants in rural areas who cannot travel to our central location. A reliable vehicle and a willingness to go the extra mile — literally — are what this role asks.
